Re: Is There a Reason Solus doesn't want my Money?

To bring this up again, please consider you've noticed this (October 27th, 2018): https://getsol.us/2018/10/27/in-full-sail/ Which brings me to Patreon , arguably the most difficult for me to talk about. After multiple support tickets, they have repeatedly refused to provide access to the Solus acco...

Re: In full sail

Full ack.
Thank you, Josh, Bryan and others for your great work to save the boat from sinking. And thank you for clarifying. I had no idea what was going on.

All the best wishes to Ikey, I hope you are okay.

Let us know what we can do to support one of the best OS ever.

Re: Is There a Reason Solus doesn't want my Money?

but Patreon/online donations are some of the best ways Seriously? Each time I want to log in to Patreon I have to do the f*ing Google-Ai-Training "click all tiles containing cars", but only when I remember to enable JS and so on. Fighting with PayPal is a never ending story - ever tried to use PP v...

Re: Solus won't boot with to the latest kernel (4.9.x)

PS: There is currently a bug with the mouse focus that affects the guest machines running the "current" kernel. It will be fixed with the next kernel update (the virtual machines running the "lts" kernel are not impacted by this bug). Thanks for this hint. 4.16.15-76 is working, 4.17.3-81 no more. ...

Re: I do not see popup when I insert a USB

I wonder what kind of "problem". Solus automatically mounts the removable device's filesystem(s) if possible. That's mostly nice, except the case you don't want to have it fully mounted. But what else should possibly happen?

Re: Main menu falling in from top of screen

For the virtual Solus you may try "nomodeset" as boot parameter, this helped in my case. (Before, Solus was trying to set the login screen size a couple of times, but without success and gave up with a small black screen.)

Re: opera web browser

Noticed this too, filed a bug an hour ago, and got an answer from Josh Strobl:
`opera-stable` is distributed in our repository and will be available to stable on the next sync. As a result, it was removed from 3rd-party and Software Center.
