I honestly just added them in case someone had removed them. There's no harm in it trying to install them if they're already there.

I'm having the exact same problem as ooga. I set this up fine last month, but on a fresh install today it's not working.

I see topics of interest, are you all using PIA? Which one is better and cheaper for PIA and IPVanish? I recently saw an article about VPN introduction, to be honest, I have been struggling between the two.

I thought i would give this a try tonight, got the same error. I edited the .ovpn file of the location i wanted to connect to. US Chicago.ovpn and removed the <crl-verify> and </crl-verify> lines from the config file. Then just followed rest of the settings. Worked great. From what i gather, it has something to do with the certification revoke list. Something out the client doesn't like that parameter. I dont think there is any real harm in removing it, except that if PIA want to revoke a cert your client wont check every time to see if its valid.
