Synology Drive Beta

Wed Feb 07, 2018 12:50 pm

Hi everybody :)

I'm a new solus (budgie) user since 1week, after years using Ubuntu on my laptop.
I would like to know if there was a possibility of using the Synology Drive beta app ?
I installed it previously on Ubuntu with a .deb package.

How should I do now on Solus ?

Here's the file repository : https://ukdl.synology.com/download/Tool ... 0.0-10165/

There are two ways that I know of to install the deb file as you previously did:

> Install Virtualbox on Solus, and then install Ubuntu Budgie in the VM.

> Just install Ubuntu Budgie on a fast usb v3 portable ssd such as the Sandisk Extreme 500 . . . note this is not a live install but a full OS install on the portable device.

Ok, seems like I'll wait for another easyier solution.
I don't think my laptop would like to run a VM as it has little RAM memory.

Thanks for your answer !! ;)
