Trackpad Help

Fri Nov 17, 2017 2:58 pm

Hey guys! How are you all? Let me preface this by saying I love the OS and the ideology behind it. I think Ikey and his group are doing an excellent job with it.

Now for my issue. I currently am running Antergos because of an issue with my trackpad that has stopped me from switching to Solus full time. On solus no matter which DE I use the trackpad is inaccurate and not very responsive. For instance when i move to click on something it will kind of jump past it almost like the input is lagging so i end up over shooting my intended target. Same thing with two finger scrolling its very choppy. On Antergos its all as smooth as can be.

I've checked and messed with sensitivity and what not but it really hasn't helped much. So I'm wondering if maybe its a driver issue or maybe a core OS setting that I can tweak? The laptop in question is a HP EliteBook 840 G2.

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!
